DROP-IN POLICY: Per day drop-ins are allowed in some adult classes with the consent of the instructor or where noted in the description. Students may drop-in ONLY 3 times before they are required to purchase a half or full class (no other fractional classes allowed), unless otherwise noted.

Calling all Material People! We'll learn basic screen-printing techniques with a focus on fabric. Add new dimensions to your quilts, print T-shirts for the family, create unique scarves, linens, button covers, ribbons, floor cloths – the possibilities are endless. The class will be tailored to individual’s interests. Bring ideas and images to the first class. Supply list available. Class is also suitable for those wishing to print on paper.

Students enrolled in classes SP1S – SP2S are entitled to 3 additional hours of studio time each week during scheduled supervised open studio hours. Students may use the studio only when safety supervision is provided and must sign in upon arrival at the studio. Studio time by appointment to be arranged with instructor.

Design cool creations from clothes in your closet! Use images from RAC’s collection and your own designs to create unique, personalized clothing. Bring a black & white drawing, photo or xerox with you to the first class. Basic techniques covered. Screen prep Day One. Days Two and Three will focus on printing. Repetition, patterning and layering of color will be used to get rich built up surfaces. Inks included. Students provide the clothes and inspiration.
